Zombie Bait
Another quick flash
Vivian twitched the curtain aside and peered out the grimy window. "I see them. There's four standing on the corner."
"Okay." Timothy set the black case on the floor and popped it open. Quickly and efficiently, he began assembling the rifle.
"How much longer? It's starting to get dark, and you won't be able to see." She released the curtain, shuddering. While the sun shone the reanimated were slow, lumbering, easy to kill. As soon as the sun set or was covered by clouds, however, the zombies gained inhuman speed. Several times she'd nearly been caught when the sun went behind a cloud. It was a blessed day when she met up with Timothy and his eagle eye.
"Not too long. Stay calm. Open the window." He spoke in a clipped tone, without looking at her. Ever since they found that nearly full bottle of Wild Turkey and she woke tangled in the dirty sheets last night, he'd been unable to meet her eyes. It made her wonder. But she never brought it up.
Vivian hurried to obey, struggling a little with the sash. Finally, it rose, and she checked out the corner for the reanimates. Yep, still there. Still staring up at the apartment. That one on the bicycle looked remarkably like that kid to whom she always spoke at the drug store. She leaned out, trying to see if it was him.
Behind her Timothy raised his foot and planted it square on her fat ass, shoving her out the window. He settled into position at the window, watching in satisfaction as the zombies swarmed over the twitching corpse with relish and began to feed. He raised the rifle, sighted on the zombie closest to him, and pulled the trigger.
Tomorrow he'd have to find new bait.

Well, that was unexpected 😳. I like it 😈
Oh damn!!!
